Introducing Our Assistant Principal

 An Arizona native, Mrs. McCluskey began her educational career in 2006 working with children from six months to ten years old. After completing her associate’s and bachelor’s in Elementary Education, she taught first, third, and fourth grade before moving in to math intervention for K-5 students. While teaching, Mrs. McCluskey served on multiple Griffith and Balsz District committees and found her passion for leadership. When the opportunity to serve as “Teacher on Special Assignment” arose, she went on to pursue her Master’s in Educational Administration. Learning and leading staff, students, and families is at the heart of her work as she serves as Griffith’s Assistant Principal. She believes Balsz District and Griffith Elementary are rich in dedicated families and educators. She will continue to work diligently to keep the promise of “Children First”.
